Saturday, October 25, 2025, Branch #291 Royal Canadian Legion will be hosting a Veterans Dinner at William’s Ridgehouse Restaurant located at 9 Crystal Green Lane, Okotoks, Alberta beginning at 1800 hrs (6pm).
** This dinner is open to all Veterans (Legion members or not) and Non-Veteran members belonging to Branch #291 who are in good standing. Veterans or spouses of Veterans who are not members of Legion #291 will need to provide proof of veteran status (if you haven’t already been vetted).
** There is no-cost for the meal (food only) for Veterans, their spouse and/or accompanying Care-giver, or a Veteran’s surviving spouse and their accompanying Care-giver (if applicable).
** The cost of the meal (food only) for Non-Veteran members, in good standing, of Branch #291 and there guest is $35.00 per person. Due to space limitations, attending Non-Veteran members of Legion Branch #291 are limited to inviting one accompanying guest.
** No persons under the age of 18 are permitted to attend.
** For Non-Veteran members of Branch #291 only, who are attending – There are funds set aside to supplement the cost of the meal. Depending on the numbers attending, will determine the actual final cost of the meal to those members (last October’s dinner the meal was entirely covered by the supplemental fund).
** As per usual, there will be a $10.00 confirmation fee per person to be paid in advance by eTransfer to okotoks.legion@gmail.com – include a reason for the money transfer (eg, Veterans Dinner) in the message box when completing the eTransfer. Upon attending, the confirmation fee will be refunded. If paying by Cash, contact our Branch Secretary, Mandie Barker, by email at okotoks.legion@gmail.com to make arrangements.
** DRESS – Legion uniform, Military Mess kit, or Business casual for those without a uniform.
